FIELD NOTES: On the Power of Thought
A meditation on the quiet, fragile state of clarity, and the discipline it takes to protect it from the noise of our own ambition.
"A man is but the product of his thoughts what he thinks, he becomes"
Another day. The sunrise paints a colour so nourishing, lifting every being. A sudden smile, feeling bright again, music strokes a mood as if stronger then yesterday. The heart quickens, you can see more clearly.
Renewed courage, welcome are the perks of a good refreshing of the brain, proper night's sleep. Thus the many impulses fade into a state of harmony, where the senses are numbed, yet the long-term vision of things steadily sharpens.
Alas a fragile emotion, threatened to fly when reason kicks in and fights for seating. The beauty of it translating into fear of loss, in next a yearning to win it back. Often a sour ending when the embedded patterns crown themselves once more.
Such peace of mind… Only for a flash to pause the ruling of your day. One free of expectations, vanished are the insecurities. The carefree spirit, makes you move like water. An easy, warm, dynamic play that gets you anywhere.
A thread of life that flawlessly connects the rare moments of awe and discovers the truth within. Stupefied for it always hung before your blinded self. Flabbergasted, by the genius found in idiot laughter, tears of joy, free dancing.
New definitions of success usually unfold in crises. There we dare to flip the coin, embrace spontaneity, and meet the sighted self. Time halts, for the one knows it has all to leave its mark on the world. Plant that hunch, this seed may catch wildfire. How little they seem, few can fathom their significance overtime.
Become the rebel that thrives on surprise. Radicalise fixed settings, reinvent new ones. You now hold a frame that doesn’t count time, makes you pause, while space grows for greater self-realisation.
Mahatma Ghandi once said, "a man is but the product of his thoughts what he thinks, he becomes."
My question for our community is this: What is the primary source of "noise" in your life right now—the pressure to be productive, the pull of distraction, your own inner critic? And what is one small, deliberate ritual you can practice this week, not to force an outcome, but simply to protect the quiet space where your best ideas can be heard?
I look forward to reading your reflections in the private members' discussion.
Trust the hunch. Find the story.
